Race report by Mark Sousa
Over the weekend we made the long 11 hour trip down to the Quebec Indoor Nationals in Degelis, Quebec and it was a great event and definitely a race that will grow for sure.
The track crew lay down a great track that was very technical and high speed and the slippery track surface made it even tougher. There were no seating rounds of practice at the race but both my XB8 and XT8 were hooked up after some setup changes with Proline tires.

Qualifying started off rough with truck when we made a change and it wasnt very good for the way the track was so we decided to go back to our usual setup and my truck felt really good and was able to TQ the next 2 rounds and was also able to TQ the first 2 rounds of buggy so for the 3rd round we made some changes to see how the car would react and it was pretty slippery as the track got colder but still had the overall TQ going into the mains.

Truggy main I was starting 1st and my truck felt really good and was able to stretch out my lead every lap and take the Win with Eric Deschenes and XRAY's Pete Elphinstone Jr in 3rd

In Buggy we quickly realized that the track had a lot more grip then qualifying so we went into the main with our setup from qualifying and the car was a bit to soft and made the car hard to drive so I made a few mistakes in the beginning and went back to last and after that I quickly started to make moves and get back into first and was able to stretch out the lead more and more every lap and was able to take the win with Sam Langer in 2nd and iated's Damian Lamy in 3rd.
